In the sura Al Nisa, men can beat "disobedient" women.
the only religion who liberated the women is wicca, the cult of Goddesses. not islam. in islam, a husband can marry 4 wives, used them as cow/fertilized wombs for having children, can marry a "wife" of 9-12 age, can beat a "disobedient" woman.
the woman in islam is considered less in intellect. men are considered masters, as allah said. islam is pro-female genital mutilation (as it is written in the hadith.. cut a little piece of clito) and, last but non least, in islam there is a male prophet talking about a male god in the sky.
this is not an honor for women. this is a cage. a hell.
